4" Rancho for 08 F150 SCREW
After talking to the guy I was gonna have my body lift installed by, I found out that he said it was $850 for the install... plus $400 for the lift itself - he said $1277 out the door - a little more expensive than I thought (tho Im not surprised, given what guys have said on here). I read through the instructions for the PA BL, there is no way in the world I would ever install that myself. I don't have that much time, and I'd probly loose the 2 most important bolts of the 50 thousand I have to remove. So now... yes, now, after much debate, and after I "made up my mind" several times... I am looking at the 4" rancho. I know there are several threads on this, but mine is a little different. I have had A TON of people tell me to buy the Rancho and install it myself. Ok, I looked at someone's photos of the install, doesn't look too bad, I might do it. But... you guys keep telling me I should just look around and get the Rancho for 1200 bucks or so... Where did you guys (for those who have it) get it? And just as a side note, I can't find sportztrailerz or whatever its called... anywhere...
Thanks!

I personally haven't seen it for $1,200. I think ATOM may have bought his for around that, not sure if it included shocks or not though. For that price you may have to hope you stumble upon it on Ebay. I bought mine online for $1,800 from 4WheelParts. That price included the adjustable shocks. When I got it, the kit was on sale with free shipping.

Another thought is to keep your eye on your local Craigslist ads....daily. I found my Rancho for $650, brand new, never installed, incl. the Rancho 9000xl shocks. In fact, he had already installed the OEM spring onto the front shocks! This guy was all ready to install and decided he wanted to go bigger and ended up with a total of about 7" of lift. Best thing about it is he's located about 45mi from me but was good enough to meet me half way...no shipping!
Point is, there are deals out there, so be patient and keep looking.
I hope to have it all installed by February.
Good luck!
