gungaden,

$227 is a little bit too much for a leveling kit. Check out Fat Bob's Garage.

hey man, I have the equivalent from Fat Bob's Garage... the 3" level kit... I dunno what year truck you have, but on my '08 it made it squat in the back... it looks really cool (other than the squat) but I would rather have gone with the 2" level kit, since I use my 4wd a lot. I used it for about 20 miles in the snow today... pulling people out and stuff... it did good, but I was very cautious about my speed b/c of the angles on the CV. I would recommend going w/ the AutoSpring 2". A bunch of guys are running those and the Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks. Good luck!

oh and you will probably rub w/ the 315/70/17's... But it would probably only be on the lower control arm... that's what most people experience, I still have the stockers, I can't speak of my personal experience. 33's wouldn't rub at all... just my 2 cents.

Just FYI, if you run the autospring and the adjustable bilsteins, you have to leave the preload set on 0" or your angles will be to severe to drive with. You could just the adjustable bilsteins w/o the the AS if you want a little bit better ride, but a little more dough.

If you bought adjustable shocks, then you wouldn't need the leveling kit. You simply crank out the shock to raise & level the truck.

oh, sorry, that was a little confusing. I meant that a bunch of guys run either the 2" AS or the bilsteins.... not together... but some people do put both together, but as you said, you would need to leave the bilstein at it's 0" setting.

ask pawpaw if he rubs. he has a leveling kit and 315/70/17 tires. i have bfg's that size on my truck and so far their really good and im happy with them. next set im getting the km2's, found em for $233 a piece!

online tires has bfg at/ko's for 202/piece. have a local store price match. or go to a hummer dealership and buy their take offs.
