To all the Pro Comp 6" guys
Ok guys I have a question
My 6" Pro Comp goes on this Saturday. I have read that the rear end sags a little and isn't level with the front which is what I am looking for.
The add a leaf was thrown in when I bought the lift. In all of your experts opinion should I install the AAL when I do the rest of the lift to get the level look that I am going for?
Would that be to much and give me the stinkbug look that only a 1000 pounds of concrete can fix?
Thank you for the info and as soon as I figure out that photobucket contraption I will post pics

agree with Effonefifty. I have a stage II and did all of this in the rear with the shim kit to level the rear vs. coilovers in front. Ask the shop what they think. I got a call halfway into install and they told me i would sag. They ordered the AAL and got it in the next morning. Only added half a day to the install.

Firstly, it is not a sag created by the lift. Depending on you and your hauling habbits, your springs may have already sagged. Adding the lift will only show this. THink about it his way, most guys add a 2 or 3" inch spacer to get a level truck, that's why the PC kit comes with a 3" block, so 6" in the front and 3" in the back.
Glad to hear you added the leaf. You should also be aware that if you stacked the blocks as procomp wants you to do, you should consider it temporary. You should go get your leafs re-arched and only run 1 block.
Have fun with the lift.

My hauling habits are almost exactly zero.
I towed a uhaul car trailer with a Hyundai on it from New Jersey to Texas but other than that it is nothing.
Anyone else with some input?
Trying to make a decision by Thursday night since I putting it on on Friday.
Thank you to everyone that replied. Your input is great.

Why not just purchase the 5.5 inch block from Pro-Comp and it will still ride nice and not sag. Because when you add the ad a leaf it does get quite a bit stiffer ride. If your carrying heavy loads that's great, but if not why do it? Also make sure you check drive shaft length, the farther you lift the more the shaft will pull out of the transmission. You might need a drive shaft spacer.

Well due to my lack of knowledge I didn't know about the 5.5 inch block.
How much stiffer are you talking about?
Here is what I'm planning on doing now. I'm going to stack the blocks and put the add a leaf in. Hope like hell that the back end doesn't look completely stupid. If it does look bad I will just put the Bilsteins on there after driving around for a little bit to see if the leafs settle down a little bit.
If anyone sees any problem with this please tell me where I am going wrong now!
If it is a good idea please let me know that to. Thanks guys
