It's a 7.5" Fabtech Performance Crossmember lift with 315/75/16R (35x12.50) tires and 16x10 pro comp rims. The truck is 2wd, so I hope there is no confusion there.

Back when I bought the lift (going on 3 years ago), I paid just at $1000 because I bought my rims and tires at the same time, totaling about $3000 for everything from 4wheelparts.com...I'm not certain if they still carry the lift or not, but I imagine they would.

Wow, you must be talking about the long travel kit. The long travel kit allows for 35 inch tires but it's more of a prerunner set up, instead of just a "normal" lift kit. Make sure youre looking at a 2WD 97-03 F150 Fabtech Performance Crossmember Lift Kit. If it says "long travel suspension" anywhere on it, then youre looking at the wrong one.

Haha, sounds like you have yourself a plan then. I think eventually I want to put a 3" body lift on and 37's with the long travel upper and lower control arms from fabtech. Pearl white paint job with silver flake, road/pocket style fender flares painted to match, 37" bfg km2's with 20" gloss black rims, tailgate off a superduty painted to match, upper and lower valences painted to match along with rear bumper. Black UWS tool box, rhino lined bed, katzskin leather seats with everything replaced in the interior. Just a simple light bar (painted gloss black) with some Hella's or KC's. 6" deaver springs with resevoirs in the back. Of course, all of this after the truck has been pulled off the frame and the frame has been cleaned and repainted. And that's just the cosmetics! Don't even get me started on the drivetrain!

I think I've been thinking about this for too long...

The fabtech kit comes with new crossmembers, new bump stop plates, 5" blocks, spindles, and new shocks. I have everything on from the kit except for the 5" blocks. I replaced them with a set of 5" leaf springs about 6 months ago. Makes it ride a lot better!

You and my brother both have the same lift set up. He runs 33's on 16 inch rims on a 1997.

You need the spindles, shocks, and crossmember for up front. The new crossmember bolts in place of the old lower control arms and relocates them lower.
