Hell, you and Josh would still be trying to figure out how to get that first one together had I not suggested you push the rubber insulator down on the shaft.

got my front shocks on today, using a big hammer and a punch to get the lower bolt out. these were the shocks that came out of it, the "factory" ranchos.



it rides much much better now, but i think i need to tighten the top nut some more

keep and eye on the upper bushing, you want it snug, but dont crush it by over tightening the bolt

Wow, 80k on the stockers eh? It has to be like driving an entirely different truck now.
Good job, you'll love them. Nevermind the better ride but your truck will stay planted much better now.

Yep, with the 305/50s and the new shocks, it cuts a pretty trim corner. There are some sharp curves on the roads I travel every day, so I get to feel the difference. A couple say 2o mph and I can go thru huggung the edge of the road easily at 50.
