one final thought: if you are thinking of modifying your rear suspension in any way, i would do that before extending the driveshaft. any modifications would slightly affect the orientation of the rear driveshaft to the transfer case extension housing.

also, it may be tempting to paint your new driveshaft so it doesn't get rusty. there is some controversey as to whether this may result in vibrations. ask your shop for further advice here.
