Not a fan of the body lift. my sister had one on her 04 heritage and it just looked weird to me.
first extra money i get is going towards a set of 285/75's. im not planning on going to high with this one but on my next truck i will. im also thinking about taking off the steps for a better look.
like you truck man. hows the ride with the solid axles and leafs front and back?

Im not done with it yet, did another test drive today and got it up to about 90 on the speedo (around 65 mph really) no death wobble or anything. Pulled back into the shop and noticed a leak, i blew my power steering pump so tomorrow that will be fixed.
then hopefully i can take it out of the shop for a few months, then back in for t-cases and front d-shaft. How do you like the 4.2L

The 4.2L actually has more power than would be expected. the only mods to the engine are that its only got less than 15k on it, full synthetic, k&n filter and 3" intake nozzle and its does pretty good on the road. it can keep up with most others and with the 5 speed if i need some more accel all i have to do is down shift. it also can pull pretty well. we sometimes use it to put the jetskis in and out of the water and the only issue it has is on the slick algae ramp the tires spin until they dry off, but that can be fixed by putting some friends in the back.
so you only have 2wd right now?
ill probably take the steps off when i get home from work tomorrow and take some new pics if it isnt raining

yeah my truck is only 2wd right now, i still have the stock t-case but im not gonna waste the money on the front d-shaft. Ive got a NP203 and a NP205 that i will be installing in a few months (got to rebuild them) then ill shell out close to 1k for the front d-shaft. Untill then ill have 2wd HI and 2wd LO.
Ive got the 4.2L in my truck, for at least the rest of the year. Its amazing what it will do to the 40's with alittle help from gearing. Burns them just by mashing the pedal. I like it! But cant wait to have the torque of a diesel going though the drivetrain.
