GIVING IN! lift time!

Ever since i ha my first f150 ive always wanted it lifted but either i didnt have the funds or i had to use the money on something else. I now have decided to give up and give into the temptation. ive been flip flopping between 35s and 37s for about a year now and still cannot decide. is there really that big of a difference in mpg?

ok now, i need to decide on on what color of wheels. i really like the black XD 778s but dont like the plastic center cap(ive been told is plastic not sure though). so what do you guys thing black or chrome? havent completely decided on tires either. leaning towards the toyo open country MTs.

well heres my truck as of right now with just a leveling kit and 31s. sadly i cant get the lift till next week because my buddy ran my atv into two of the doors and its in the shop.

i vote 4" rancho, bump it to 6", fx4 wheels, 35" tires of your choices, PTM bumpers.

w/ 35's, 3.73 gearing, 4.6, tuner i get b/w 11-14 city, and have seen 18.4 mpg on the highway before.

Black or chrome wheels will look great. As for lift/tire size. Look at the big picture. If you go with 37's you will have to regear and you should really go with an 8 inch Rize lift. Bigger is better, but it always cost more the taller you go.

If you cant afford to re-gear I say go Fabtech 6" with 35's
If you can afford to re-gear and go higher like wandell said go with a 8" rize and 37"'s.
I say go with black rims.

If you're even thinking of 37s, go with them, but only if you can afford to re-gear. I say you go with polished wheels.
