Specifically 97 - 03 owners, but this may apply to everybody else as well. Did you guys have to cut your outer tie rods as the manual suggested for alignment, or is this a random thing? I'm picking up some new(er) tires later on this week and I'm going to go ahead and replace all the tie rods as they're worn out on my truck. I'm in Ocala now where I've got access to all the tools I need, so if I have to, I'll trim the tie rods myself before I head back to Orlando on Sunday. Otherwise, I'll have to do it down in Orlando, which may be a little more of a pain in the *** (or the alignment shop will have to do it, which is more $$$ I can't afford to spend at this point).
