harley f150 wheel questions with lift....

Option 1.....
I know with lifts that the stock rims are not to be used. Does this count for the 07 Harley F150 wheels that are 22x9? Im pretty certain that i can make 37x13.5x22 mud grapplers fit with my harley 22's, 2.5 leveling kit, and 3" body lift.

Option 2.....
The girlfriend is wanting me to just make the rear end as low as the front. What would need to be done to bring the rear down level.

My 07 harley f150 is 4x4 so im just not really feeling the lowered option. I already had an 04 on 36" tires with 9" lift so im not new to this whole lifting stuff. I know a suspension lift would be better but not trying to spend that much. Main question is about the factory wheels being ok for those tires and all. I dont know the BS or offset.

From what I know the wheel itself will not pose a problem with a leveling kit and a body lift. It's usually the aftermarket knuckles that come with suspension lifts that cause the oem wheels to grind. I believe your wheels have something like a 6.5" bs and +44 offset but that is only speculation based on what other oem F150 wheels are. The real problem is going to be putting that wide of a tire on the stockers. The widest I've seen anybody run is a 12.5" wide tire and that creates a rub on the suspension components. I'd think that a 13.5" wide tire would be no good. Besides that, although I've seen it done on 1 truck, I'm not sure that 37" tires would be a wise choice w/ just a leveling kit and 3" bl. Like I said, I've seen it done once but I have no idea what the driveability of it was. If you want to do it though, go for it!

well ill add that my family owns a body shop so if anything needed to be made to work it could. I just dont wanna spend another 2 grand on a suspension lift like i did with the 04 f150. If i could get away with 5-6 hundred bucks in the lift then hell yeah! I saw body lifts for 400-500 bucks plus a 80-100 dollar leveling kit. I could deal with that.

You can find a bl for $300 in the classifieds right now if you want it. The problem is the install. If you pay someone to do it, the labor costs usually run in the $500-$800 range. I'm not trying to deter you in any way. I liked the look of the 1 truck I saw with the set-up. The better route would for sure be the suspension lift and a leveling kit but I can understand not wanting to spend that cash. Go for it man.
