leveling height questions

There was a guy on this site that had the 3" leveling kit with a 1.5" bigger block in the rear running 35's. My question is how tall is the truck? Anybody done this and can you still fit in a garage with a 7' door? I would like to do this but want to keep my truck inside!

Going with a three inch leveling kit probably isnt the way to go because it puts all of your front end components at to severe of an angle (ball joints and cv angles), the biggest I would go is 2.5" for the leveling kit then for the back you can go with a new block usually around 3" which replaces the 1-5/8" block currently in your truck, or you can add a leaf spring if you do some towing or want better load capacities in your bed. Either one is great I have the 2.5" autospring lift with a autospring aal, I have 315/70-17 tires which is 34.6". You can run 35's with this setup if you put those tires on something that is an 8" wide wheel with atleast 5.5" of backspacing or you can run those tires on your oem stock wheels as long as you dont get a tire that has large lugs on the sides (ex. toyo mts or nitto mud graps)

I dont think it is possible to do on a 2x4 because they sit up nearly as high as the 4x4's, your barely clearing 35's with this setup everything has to be just right and you still gotta trim a little bit in the front. You should probably stick with some 33's.
