so your not going to install the fronts yourself ? I will be doing mine in Dec or something like that whenever they decide to deploy us back home but im trying to look for a thread here that shows step by step bc they have a garage on post that you can use whatever tools you want for $3/Hr without a lift.

I would like to do the fronts myself but I've heard you need a very hearvy duty compressor for our springs and the one I have is not that heavy duty. I guess I won't know unless I try. I remember you putting your bodylift on(I've lurked for awhile before I joined) at that garage.

I had my fronts done at Pepboys. I previously did my spacer install, but didn't want to mess with the coils. Pepboys charged about $160 for the install including alignment. Not bad really when you consider that you need to spend $50-$75 to get the alignment either way.

And I am 100% sure about the Bilstein rears not providing lift. They have enough stroke to work on trucks lifted up to an inch (like on my truck with the AAL) but they do not provide any lift on their own.

Thats good info, thanks renaud. I didn't even think about pepboys. $160 is good, If I don't do them them myself I might go there.

I have the Heavy Duty Bilsteins not the 5100 series. They are basically the same shock/strut without the option to lift the front so they are a bit cheaper. I decided to just keep my spacer and save a few bucks on the Bilsteins.

I had the 5100 series Bilstein Shocks installed on the front last weekend, I installed the rear myself. Cost for alignment and shocks were $220.00. Looking at attach picture the truck seem to be level, but the rear measure 1" lower. Either I will leave it or correct it by adding a block.
