I have seen drop hitches, not sure how it changes the weight though.

I pull a 28 foot offshore boat with my 2004 supercrew with a 6" lift and have no problems at all.

They got some pretty badass drop hitches out there. I plan on some mild towing with my truck and I got a 6 inch lift. Just gotta think the rear is lifted about 3-4 inches so probably a 4-5 drop hitch

I have a 2 wheel drive with a 6" ++. Pull a 24' travel trailer with no issues . Just find yourself a good drop hitch

I would recommend a rear add a leaf or airbags to try to keep rear end sag as minimal as possible. you want to keep plenty of weight on the front tires for steering.
