Finally got the 2"AS installed.....

Took about 3 hrs on Sunday morning to get it done. Friday getting new rubber and I'm going with Nitto TG's and need some help from the pro's here. I'm torn between 285/65/18 or the 305/60/18 Nitto's on my stock 18 rims. I have 3.55 gears and tow a 18 ft boat/trailer on occasion.
Dont want that "stuffed look", just a more agressive stance. Which ones should I throw on ?

Here you go:

Both should look fine. The 305's will just be 10mm wider.

The 305s will be 20mm wider than the 285s. However, the 285s will be 0.2 inches taller. Both will look good, just go with what you want!

I personally have the 285 nitto grapplers and I LOVE them. Great looks, great tire. Either way you cannot go wrong. I am glad I chose the 285 over the 305 as I have slight rubbing while in reverse but nothing too bad.

Anyone got any photos of 305/60/18's on a 4x2 leveled ? I know what the 285/65/18 looks like and they look sweet, same with the 305/65/18 BFG I've seen on a few trucks. But, Nitto does'nt make a 65 series in 305's only BFG. Just thinkin that a 65 would fill in the "gap better" . What do yall think, is it even that noticable ?

Go with the 305 65's, they fit and look better than the 285's. I have had both. The 305's rub slightly at full lock.
285 65 18's

305 65 18's

Hope that helps

Looks good! If I go with the 305/60 Nitto's (BFG kinda pricey for me), I should still get a similiar stance as your rig, right? Meaning Nitto does'nt have a 305/65, just 305/60, is there that big of a difference ? Just trying to get a more aggressive stance without looking like a hack job...

The 60 will be a tad shorter but still the same width so you will be fine, actually they may not rub at all being a little shorter. Your stance will be good, I have a lowering shackle in the rear because I like the front a little taller than the rear. Long story short, go with a 305, I think you will be happier.
