RS9000 or Hellwig LP-15 or add-a-leaf

I haul anywhere from 500 to 3000 pounds in my bed. Will the RS9000 adjust to hold those pounds level or should I add Helliwig LP-15 or just a cheap add- a-leaf? I would like to ride level when unloaded.

The best method for hauling large and heavy loads without sagging and maintaining your ride would be to install "Double Convoluted Air Bags" from Firestone. My truck is leveled and I do have the Rancho rs9000xl adjustable shocks... They really work adjusting for different loads and surfaces. I do not cary the heavy loads you do... I don't know what year truck you have... If you have an '07 or '08 you don't need AAL springs for a level load with a 2" kit... If you have a '04 through '06, a 2-1/2" leveling will provide the same height but you will need AAL of new blocks to keep it level without any load...

2" leveling kit with Rancho rs9000xl shocks... Empty...

The shock will do absolutely nothing towards leveling out or supporting the weight of the load. That's nt what shocks do. They'll be awesome at controllng all that added weight, but they won't lift it. You need add a leafs or air bags for what you're trying to do. And for the little bit of extra money, air bags are the way to go.
