2004 Stock 4X4 block on 2X4

Hey everyone im brand new to the site. i have a 2004 F150 Reg cab with the 5.4 that i bought for my project truck but then got laid off and it turned into my primary truck. I swear everyone i talk to has a different opinion about this. Can i take the stock rear 2" blocks off an 04 4X4 and put them on my 2X4? With that the 4X4 U bolts should work too right? sorry its probably been addressed multiple times. I have a 2" leveling kit but would like the rake of the bed back. I hate it looking like its strugling with a small trailer on it. plus i want the added height in the rear too.

With the blocks you will need the 4x4 U-bolts because they are longer. Bolt it up and go. You can use the 2wd shocks, but it will ride much better with the 4wd length shocks, you end up topping out the 2wd shocks. I'm running the same setup on my '04 supercrew.

Sweet! and the shocks mounted up the same or did you have to modify it?

No need to motify anything in the back. They bolt right up.

I went the other direction, and they bolt right up. I just had to get new U-bolts and wanted new shocks.
