CUZ...Here are the pictures. The truck will stay on the stock tires until they are worn out then I am going to get 305X65X18

Pre-Leveling and Pre-AAL

Leveling Kit only

Leveling and AAL

The add-a-leaf install would be very easy, had the two bolts that hold the leaf spring together not been stuck. I had to cut them off. On the second side, I had it finished in twenty minutes.

By the way...1) I know the camper doesn't match, but if you got the deal I did, then you wouldn't care either. 2) the camper doesn't way but probably 75 pounds...it is not very heavy and cannot see it making a difference pushing the back end down.

Is this the 2 1/2" leveling kit?

Wow, I'm showing 14.5 to 15.5 on mileage with 285/70/17's...?

I have an 08 with a 2.5" leveling kit (Fat Bobs Garage) and 33's. There are some pics on my profile. (I can't figure out how to add one on my signature)

Hi Outdoor FX4,

I have the same truck as you and want to put the exact same kit on. THe shop here quoted 5 hours for the work and to me it seem ridiculous. How long did it take you to do it? It sounds like the AAL was really quick, but what about the front leveling kit?

Thanks,

Fred

From the research I've done it seems like both ends should take a shop with all the tools and such less than 4 hours. If they are an honest shop they will quote you 5 and only charge you for the the 3-4 it really takes. IF THEY ARE HONEST!

Fred....the Font took me about 4 hours but I had to run and get a larger pitman arm puller on my bike because the truck was disassembled. If I had to do it again, I would think that it would take under 45 minutes a side with the right tools. The rear, once again I would estimate would take at most 1.5 hr. If you have any tools/skills you can install this yourself. It really was not that difficult, but you must have the right tools.

The autosprings AAL kit does not need new U bolts. The only thing that gets replaced is the bolts holding the leaf springs together...and they come with the kit.
