Fabtech 5" liftblocks(pics)

The lift that I bought from Doetsch came with little 3" blocks and that just wasnt cutting it. I felt like I lived in California everytime I drove it(no offense to you cali lean guys). Anywho.. I got the 5" fabtech lift blocks which leveled it out alot more. Here are the only decent pictures that I have.. the truck is really dirty because the weather has been pretty crappy lately and isnt clearing up it seems.

3" lift blocks

5" lift blocks

Not sure how much of a difference you guys can see.. but this is with the 3"

and this is the 5"

More pics.

Thanks. I have to say that they are pretty good tires.

I am not set on anything yet. I was looking at a used set of bfg m/ts that were 315s. They had like 95% left on them, but the guy was wanting $950 for them which is more than I can get them brand new. I am in the process of getting Ford Racing 4:56s put in. As soon as that is done then I am going to be all about tires.

Thanks bud. I dont have any axle wrap that I know of.. I dont really drive it hard or anything though. I never have driven it like I stole it. I have raced it a couple times, but not while it was lifted like now. I am actually considering getting Deavers eventually. I dont know though yet because thats a bit down the road.

Oh, it veries from truck to truck. I race mine sometimes and I have a bit of axle wrap when I launch off the line. I really need traction bars, I always heard bigger blocks cause more axle wrap. Plus my school parking lot has these killer speed bumps, I dread going over them. They make my shocks over-extend.

Oh I did not know that. I got on it a little bit today getting onto the highway from a dead stop. I stayed on it till I got to about 75-80ish, and I never noticed anything. I hate the speed bumps too, but for different reasons. The ones that I go over at the college are like curbs just randomly placed. Theres not a dang thing smooth about them.

Thanks man! I couldnt stand the back end being lower. Im glad I went with the 5" blocks, but I could have gone with 6" and it would have been perfect. 5" is good enough I think.
