4wd shocks on 2wd?

Im thinking about putting the 4wd shocks on my 2wd truck. What are the problems with this? Are there any modifications needed?

Hey I took of my 4x4 shocks & blocks & u-bolts and installed 4x2 shocks u-bolts, fills much better. I don't think there is any problems. If you need 4x4 parts I have mine that I took off.

I know people have done this and I dont think there are any issues. I believe this is not much different then adding a leveling kit to lengthen the 2wd coil over.

I was doing this because I was planning on adding a leveling kit, the shocks and the blocks for a bigger increase than the leveling kit alone.

I dont think you would ever get the ball joint in your UCA to ever go back into your spindle if you did that. If you wanna go more than what a leveling kit OR coilover can do for you, I believe you need to start looking into full lift kit or BL.
