ok first off. Go with a body lift which is 3 inches. A 3inch suspension lift is totally pointless. You will get the same amount of lift of out it with a 2.5" Leveling Kit that you can get from Autospring and a lot of members here have them as well as me. Great Product for the price. If you really want to go with that small of a lift i think rough country has a 4inch suspension lift

Performance accessories it the only body lift to even consider. Most members hee have found the Autospring kit to be a great value.

Autospring leveling kit 2"-2.5 will be your best bet. Dont go over 2.5 bc of the angles it will put you at.

Body lift Like wandell said PA.

Im also in the market for a body lift and the best prices i have found so far is on Amazon. A lift for my truck is about $296 with free shipping. I see you have a 2006 which will be a little more expensive.

3" level kit for 2009 f150

WORST possible thing i have ever done. 3 days ago i got a 3" level kit and when i went to put my truck in 4x4 it was grinding and making weird noises so i went underneath took a look and my axle boots were both ripped because they were on too big of an angle so i went to get it looked at and now both my axles are shot and i had to get the 3" lift taken out so whoever is going to get a lift get the real thing ans spent the extra money its really not worth it

I want to level out the front of my FX4 with the rear just to square it up. What is my best option? I heard I can just crank the torsion keys up and get in realigned, is this true? I have 4 BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KOs waiting to be mounted and balanced so I need to know asap.

yeah you can crank your torsion bars up 1-2in.s

to the OP, as far as i know there is no such thing as a 3in. suspension lift, i believe you are thinking about a 3in. leveling kit, which is bad to begin with and you could not put a 2.5in. leveling kit on top of it.

good find there... would this set up let a guy run 37's? their site says 33 max, but we all know 35's on a 2.5 AS work just fine. would that extra 3" allow an extra 2" of rubber?

Figure that gives you 5" of lift total, and most of the trucks with a 6" lift are running 35's. In fact, depending on your offset, 35's actually rub a little with a 6" lift. I think 37's would be a stretch unless your offset was perfect and you had pre-runner fenders or something.

im confused... to me, it would be logical that adding 3" of body clearance would allow for another 3" of rubber, so the jump from 35's to 37's should be ok. i know several have said it wont work, but i just dont understand why. sorry if im just being a dummy here, but i've never understood this concept. why can you run 35's with only 2.5" of lift, but it takes an extra 6" to run 37's?
