Suggestions please

New user. Just purchased a 2010 F150 Lariat supercrew 5.4L Triton shortbed 4x4. I want to lift it, but still fit into my 7ft garage opening.

Looking at possibly getting a 2.5" leveling kit and 2" blocks for the rear. What size tires does anyone recommend? I'm thinking about 20" XD series XD788 matte black with 305x50x20 Toyo Open county all terrain. Don't know anything about the backspacing and if these would even fit under the lift I am looking at.

Open for suggestions on lift and tire size.

Thanks.

I'd go with a slightly taller tire. A 305/55-20 (33x12.50) would fit/look great with a leveling kit.

You could go with a PLS 709 lift from Performance Accessories. It stands 82" on 35" tires.

It is a 2" leveling kit and 3" body lift + gap guards.

I have the same problem regarding my garage and leveling my '09 Screw . Been seriously considering installing a All Spring 2" leveling kit {I already have onhand } and a increase in tire size as well, but parking my truck outside is not an option for me. Clearance issues and as yet undetermined low / mid range power loss has me thinking of "minimal tire size increase ", so a leveling kit is not needed , in my case ? Not really as concerned with the "look " as I am with the other two issues I mentioned above . Gonna think this over before dropping any $$

I'd go with some 33's then.

'Boatdrinks',
I have a 2009 F150 4x4 Supercrew Platinum. I just went out and measured my garage door opening at 7' - 3/4". I then backed the truck out until the cab was directly under the threshold and measured the cab clearance at 9-1/2" so you should be fine. My AS 2" leveling spacers just showed up last Thur and as soon as my mechanic is back to work after the first I'm having him install them ( $117 ) and I'm expecting $60 - $95 for the alignment ($95 being at the dealer). I know I'll also need the headlights realigned so I may just end up going to the dealer so it gets done right. Right now I don't plan on doing anything with the fog lights because I think they need to be adjusted up anyway so I'll just see where they end up and go from there. Oh yeah, I still have the OEM Perelli's on 20" rims but will be going to BFG 33x12.50's for my next set.

my step dad has a 6 inch lift with 35's on his silverado. There garage has 7ft doors and he fits. You just have to make sure you dont back out until the door is all the way up!!!
