yes he will. plenty of people run 35's with just leveling kits on the 04-08's. especially with him having a 4x4 he'll be fine. i have a friend with a 2wd 06 f150 and he runs 35 bfg at's, which is what this guy wants to use, with no rubbing at all

^ Agreed. There's no problem clearing 35" tires with a 4" lift on the 04-08 body style trucks. And it's not like owners such as myself are stuffing 35's on and just getting away with it, the 4" kits state they're designed to fit 35's.

depending on what year truck you have you can clear 35's with just a 4in lift assuming it is 4x4. I have a 05 with just a leveling kit and i can fit 35's on it now yea it would look scrunched up in the fender but they will fit and only would rub at full turn and they wouldn't rub enough to hurt anything. But if you are going to get a lift i would go ahead and get the 6in cause if you get anything smaller you will want to go bigger
