3000 saved up..lift time!!

ok guys so I have about 3000 saved up right now, I have a 05 2wd with the 2.5in HBS kit on it with 33in tires...

Here's what I am wanting to do I am wanting to run 35's and get a lot more in to off roading so I am going for purpose not looks...I am looking to put all that 3,000 in to suspension.

SO should i go with a pure suspension lift kit, or should i do a spindle kit, or coils, or blocks...im pretty lost at what to do and have so many ideas floating around in my head! I would really like to put some sort of king shock or dirtlogic shock something that will give me overall better performance off road. (I can get a deal on king shocks), so what route would you guys go???

Thanks for the advice.

Get it and go bud! Spend the extra on some decent tires.

fabtech 6 inch kit with dirtlogic coils. that is what i have and love it.

or just get that kit posted above me and use the money you saved from the dirtlogics and get kings! i guess it just depends on what kind of deal you can get on them.

You don't have the option of just adding lift spindles or longer coils. You will have to buy a full suspension lift or a body lift. Also, if you are gonna offroad, I'd suggest a locker.

Just my opinion on this whole matter, you are going to dump $3000 into a lift for a 2 wheel drive to do more offroading. If you were going for looks i woulds say awesome cause ive got nothing against lifted 2 wheel drives. I think the better thing would be to take that $3000 and put it towards a 4 wheel drive if you want to do more offroading. Just my opinion though.

Awesome, so it looks like I will go with the 6in fabtech and then sometime of king coil overs with the resi, and i can get a very good deal on them, hopefully at wholesale price. But I'm not sure yet. And then hopefully go with a decent pair of 35's.

And the reason I wouldn't save the 3000 and go buy a 4x4 is because I have put in to this truck about 3000 and now putting 3000 more and its a pain in the a$$ to sell a car in this economy, and I use my truck all the time for work.

Thanks for the help guys.

Or what if I did a 4inch body lift, and then did the king shocks???

Also at the end result whatever I choose to do, should i remove my HBS spacer??

they don't make a 4 inch body i don't think. if they do i wouldn't buy it. if you want to do offroad stuff get a suspension kit you get better ground clearance. i kept my spacer on top of my 6" kit people say it can't be done or is really bad but my angles are still fine and i haven't had any problems so its your call on that man.

can you hook me up with that deal on the kings too?

Either Fabtech and DL's or Fabtech and Kings is a really good choice.
