So Many Questions About Leveling?

I've been looking into leveling my truck, I have an '09 XLT black. I have 22's on 305/40R22 tires for the summer and stock 17's" for the winter with stock tires. At some point I want to go with a slightly bigger tire but keep the 22's in the summer and possible change rims for the winter but definitely go bigger tires. Will a leveling kit be able to accomplish this or will I have to lift to keep the 22's on there? Also, what size level kit is good for an '09, I have heard 2". Any answers are appreciated. Feel free to answer stuff I haven't asked that you feel will help me. I am very unknowledgeable about this topic so bare with me if you feel these questions are idiotic. Thanks.

Since you have a street tire/wheel package, I'd suggest lowering the rear 2 inches with a set of lowering shackles. A 305/40-22 is essentially a 32x12.50 tire. You can easily fit a 265/70-17 (32x10.50) using your OEM wheels. If you have a 4x4, you can go with an even larger tire.
