Steering Issue with BL

I got my BL installed yesterday and I noticed that went I went over speed bumps or anything like that I can feel a little bit of play in the steering. I can hear and feel the metal of the steering yoke slightly hitting another metal object. I assume that it is the extension or the joint.
Does anyone else with a BL experience this? I dont want to have my steering wheel pull out like a Saturday morning cartoon.

Just get down and look under the dash in front of the pedals and you will be able to see the steering extension. Just wiggle it and if there is play then tighten it. But there is a certain ft lbs of torque. Think it was like 35 or something. But yah I kinda have the same feeling I guess but doesn't sound like its hitting anything

I agree. I've never installed one on a 04-10 truck, but on the 97-03's you have to tightent the crap outta the steering extension to get rid of any play.
