Question Questions

tried searching couldnt find answers so here you go!

1)i have a 2004 single cab(although i have that extra space in the back, i forgot what this cab was called) but anyways
i read somewhere that 2004's need a 2.5" in front to level it out. is this true?

2) if that is true, then when i add my 3" PA body lift will it end up being around
5.5" inches lift?

3)when i do lift everything will i need new shocks? longer ones etc..
i plan on getting new ones anyways so any info would be great.

1.Extended cab?

2. I'm not too sure but a 2inch leveled out my 05. Yes its true you will have 5.5 inches of lift.

3. No need for longer shocks bc the spacr sit on top of your strut assembly and body lift is lifting the body up off the frame.

But another option if you want new shocks look into the adjustable bilsteins. They can lift you up to 2 inches of lift up front as well as the better ride quality.

Get the bilsteins sense you need new shocks anyways instead of having to spend money on two things when the bilsteins will do both

you probably have a regular cab. they look like an extended without as much room in back.

some have mentioned 04's need 2.5" and 05+ need 2". not sure if thats true.

my 2.5 was nose high when i put it on though.

i think the diff is i am 2wd and 4wd technically have a 1.5 block in back factory.
that could make a difference in which drivetrain you have.

hmm i think im just gonna go with the adjustable bilsteins.
but a question for anyone that has them or knows anything about them..
do i need to get new springs? or can i use the oem? would it be better
to get new springs? or is there no point in getting new ones?

you dont need new or change the springs out at all. they replace the struts you currently have with the stock springs and do give a better ride.

dont even consider a spring change, not gonna do any good.

Yea that is probably why
But now that i have had my 2.5 on for a while it has settled a little and the back is just about 1/2in higher then the front but it is not enough to notice
