[HELP] replacing lower ball joints????

I have an '02 F-150 2 wheel drive with the 5.4(if it matters) and my lower ball joints need replacing, i will have the ball joints in the morning but just looking to see how difficult this operation will actually be, thanks in advance,

any tips and trick would be greatly appreciated

Heat them up with a torch and it will help gettin them out......

Check on youtube. About a week ago someone had posted a how to video somewhere on here. P.S. Make sure you have a press to put the new ball joints back in.

You definitly need the tools to get the joints out and back in. You just can't beat them back in. I have a otc kit for ball joints and works pretty well otherwise, you have to find someone with a press. I would replace upper, lowers and the tie rods right away with greasable ones. You will have the knuckle out already much easier to do it right away then get an alignment.

put them in the freezer and they will fall right down in there easy , wont need a press......
