whats up with this? Ford Problem Maybe?

well i put my new wheels on monday. after wards i noticed how the right rear tire sticks out further than the left rear. Yesterday i had new brake pads put on and an alignment and it is the same. The right tire sticks out about a quarter of an inch more then the left.

I did a google search and most of the stuff that came up was mustangs with this issue and its seems like they say it comes like that from ford. So i dont know if some f150's have the same issue or what.

any thoughts and opinions would be great. i plan to take it back to where got the alignment and then maybe to ford just to here what they think.

here is a visual reference.

I never noticed it on my 05 but I wasn't looking for it. Any ideas as to the cause.

Get a wheel spacer on one side. Stop bitching.

yeah it's a common problem with the bed being off to one side. if you really want to fix it you can loosen the bed bolts and line it up then tighten them back down.

This topic has been up at least 15 times, yes Ford NBS trucks tend to have this problem. Nothing to worry about or even post about, if it bothers you get a wheel spacer. Wheel spacers are safe if they are not the cheap ones. You dont see me posting about how one of my mirrors sits higher than the other, which it does.

Im just wondering if its a problem or not i can deal with how it looks if theres nothing wrong with it. Excuse me for asking, i guess your pissed about florida getting beat by uk again or something but theres no need to be a *****.

I couldn't care more about college basketball at all. So no. College football is where its at.

Try the bed bolts, then wheel spacers.

so the bed can move side to side? the reason i ask cuz i had a spray-in liner done and they took the bolts out so they didnt spray over them so they could have thrown off the bed alignment.

How can the bed be off to one side if all lines are equal with the cab ? Is the whole thing sitting crooked on the frame ? Not trying to be a smart **** but this thread kind of took a negative turn and I am just curious.
