6" Fabtech+5" rear block+ 2.5" Level!!!

Ok guys Im on the Top Gunz website about to make a purchase. Heres the plan.
6" fabtech performance system
5" rough country rear blocks

The plan is to put on the Fabtech and throw away the puny 2" rear block and put on the 5" rear block instead and also use the 2.5" Coil spacer i have on right now. So that would be 8.5" front and 5" rear lift. Im pretty sure that since the stock truck sits 2.5" lower in the front that this will leave it level( for the most part). I may have to do a 2" AAL in the future but for now the 8.5"/5" is sounding pretty level. ANY INPUT?! Im gonna throw some 37's and 20's in the mix.

I'm sure others will have some better insight, but I think I've read on here not to use the 2.5" with a lift. Again, I could be wrong.. but might want to do some research on that

I did a 6" fab plus 2" AS spacer and stacked a block in the back and she sits good on 37/22 combo. I wouldn't go 2.5" as the CV angles are pretty jacked on mine but its your call.

I have been told not to use it as well, but Ive also done some research on my own and I actually found some guys truck on here that has a 6" fabtech and he also incorporated his 2.5" as well, but he didnt put a bigger block on the back so it has major cali lean. Im doing all the install myself with the help of my cousin who puts on lifts for a living. He told me he has never done it before but as long as the upper control arm and spindle allow the extra 2.5" then it should be about as much stress as my stock suspension has with the 2.5" by itself right now. By the way, like the sig quote.

Yea dont do the 2.5. I had a 2" and it created some real problems, ending up having to replace the lower and upper ball joints and tie rod ends. Personally I say go with a 3" BL if you want the height. But its your call!

I think I can give you the answer you're needing. I have the 6" Procomp with 2.5" Leveling Kit, 5" RC rear block and an AAL. You WILL need a 2" AAL. You can see pic's of my truck and see that the rear still sits a little lower. If you don't put the AAL it will have a major lean. And I'm considereing going to coilovers up front b/c my truck rides very stiff with stacked spacers and the AAL.

Ii have the 6 inch fabtech with a 2.5 inch spacer on top of my coils that are cranked.
In the rear i have a 5 inch fabtech block, 2 inch AAL and an airbag kit.

I have not had any problems at all with anything and i am a 2wd aswell. so i am sure you will be ok.

Stacking a 2.5" spacer on a 6" lift is asking for ball joint failure, its not worth it. Yes you are a 2wd so you only have to worry about your ball joints but imo that's enough to say not to do it. The most id recommend doing is 1.5".

And does the kit come with a spacer or new struts/coils, if its a spacer then its not recommended to stack another spaced ie leveling kit on top of that, very unsafe and I could careless who says that its ok, that would automatically qualify you for the scary steering website: its as bad as stacking rear blocks.

Body lifts are generally cheap, and easy to do. They do take some time to install but its a much safer option.

trimble: The lift is a new strut assembly so there would be no stacking of spacers(scary thought). And I would go with a body lift but the frame hanging out the bottom is my pet peeve. looks like doodoo. But I have continued research and Ive decided to go ahead and stay with the 2.5CS regardless of ball joint failure. And ive also decided to grab a set of 2" AAL for the rear after checking out some galleries. I made the purchase about 10 minutes ago. Now I just have to wait til this summer so I can put some serious man hours in and get it done in less than 48 hours. ha.

My truck has a body lift, you really honestly cant tell its even there. Out of all the trucks on the road the F150's hide it the best.

Gap gaurds, and a set of side steps and its impossible to see

Alright guys my order should come in tomorrow. I think Im going to sell my 2.5CS to my friend for 50 bucks and get a 2" from Top Gunz. If only I had two solid days of downtime so I could put this on and the 1500 bucks for 37's. I anticipate that June will be the magic month for the install. Many pics to come then. Thanks for the help and suggestions.
