besides ebay, where can i get one? I dont need it if i'm not towing anything right? Will the 1 inch front spacer work fine without me modifying the back? (well besides the Rancho lift.)

With just the Rancho lift, your truck will still have the rake to it. If you add the 1 inch spacer up front your truck is going to sit level. If you want the rake, you will have to put something in the rear.

I just measured my wheel wells and the fronts measured 43.75" and the rears came in at 44". So only 1/4" of rake, I can't even see it.

Are these measurements with the Rancho 4" lift only?

Just wondering what is the purpose of replacing the ball joints? Just because you already have it apart or is there an upgrade?

I believe that since it is all taken apart, you should upgrade with quality components: Replace both upper control arms and lower ball joints. I like Moog products so once you replace the uca, the ball joints only can be replaced when needed, and both bj's come with zerk fittings so they can be re-greased. Many here have reported premature bj wear and I think it is due lack of grease fittings. The Moog stuff is heavy duty and not very expensive when replacing both sets of uca's/bj's.

When installing my lift, swapping in the uca's and lower bj's added about 1.5 hours to the install.

BTW, if going with huge tires or extreme off-roading, consider the Camburg uca's...those things are awesome!

You can see my Moog uca/bj in this pic...it is slightly beefier than the OEM uca.

Just to confirm... A set of wheels 20x9 with 18 offset and 5.71 of backspacing will work with the rancho or no? Any Trimming required?

You should be good to go up to a 35x12.50 with that setup.
Good luck and post pics when you get it all installed!

FYI... most lifts specify a rim with a 4.5" backspacing. On a 9" wide rim the offset would be -12mm. Here is a pic of a 20x9 KMC Hoss rim with 4.53" BS -12mm offset and a 12.5" wide tire... to give you an idea of how much tire will stick out. This is on an 09 F150 with just a 2.5" level. Some trimming was needed.

***I am by no means saying a 5.5" BS will not work... I really do not know.

As for adding a level, i dont know why you would want to on top of a lift other than to just add a little more height. If this is the case, I really would just suggest to go to a 6" lift (IMO, BDS has the best 6" on the market... there is not compromise for a no questions asked warranty). If you are nose high or nose low, I would adjust the rake with the rear. It is much cheaper and easier to alter the rear (AAL, Blocks or shackles) than it is to add a front level (dont forget everytime you alter the front, the geometry changes and an alignment MUST be done).

Just my 2cents.

The Rancho kit for 2004-08 trucks was designed for an 18x9 wheel with 6" of back spacing and a 35x12.5x18 tire.

The Rancho kit for 09-10 trucks was designed for an 18x9 wheel with 4.5" of back spacing and a 35x12.5x18 tire.
