leveling kit

leveling kit

i want to put a leveling kit on my 05 but i keep hearing things like the hbs 2.5" makes the front end sit higher than the back end, and i want to start modding the hell out of this thing so if anyone can give me any information to send me in the right direction thanks alot.

i did the rough counrty with 1inch rear block and shocks and love it. Back now barely sits higher perfect if you pull a trailer.

i dont do a hole lot of towing i just dont want the front to be higher than the rear does anyone have the hbs 2.5" on there truck and can tell me what it looks like

im going thought the same thing w/ my 04, im most likely gonna do a 2.5 rough country level the dealer said it would sit level w/ the butt.

On 04-05's go with a 2.5", the later years had different spring packs and sat level with just a 2.0. I've got an AutoSpring 2.5", pretty much the same thing as the HBS and it sat perfect but since I tow I added a 1.5"aal so the rear doesn't sag.

i have a 2.5 hbs on my 05 and it sits level. are you going to put it on yourself? i found a post on here that has step by step instructions that was very helpful, pretty simple install and i'm no mechanic.

yea im going to do it myself im pretty hands on been around cars my whole life. but thanks for the info everyone im gonna order the 2.5 now and i will let you guys know next weekend how it all came out thanks for you help

I have the 2.5" HBS and got out the digital level to check it. I measured the angle of the floor since it had a slight incline and then measured angle of the bed and they were the exact same.

However.... I believe the wheel well on the front is slightly larger so it "looks" a little nose high.

I was thinking about a 1.5" rear lift shackle. Anyone used those before? Other than the leveling kit, my truck has stock suspension.

2.5 HBS on my 05 and its sits level and looks great! And its pretty cheap as far as leveling kits go.
