Option 1: 2.0" levelling kit up front, nothing in the rear.

Option 2: 2.5" levelling kit up front, may or may not make your truck sit "bulldog" (slightly higher in the front), at which point you could do an AAL, blocks or air bags in the rear.

Option 3: Some shock manufacturers make shocks with the capability of providing up to a 2" lift up front. These are pricey but if you need new shocks anyway, I would recommend Bilsteins.

The consensus around here is to not exceed 2.5" with a levelling kit.

A popular brand of levelling kit is Autospring. They also make a 3" rear block (which replaces yout factory 1 5/8" block) and an AAL. If you want some adjustability with your rear end, Firestone Ride Rite air bags are an option ($250).

1.5" AAL

1.5" rear block (actually 3" tall to replace the factory plus add lift)

Bilstein shocks (with 2" leveling option)

This is all assuming you have a 4wd.

I, and many others on this site, run a 2.5" Autospring in the front, the Autospring blocks in the rear with 35x12.50x18's on the factory wheels. I have since swapped out the blocks for the Firestone airbags.

Both the Autospring (aka AS) 2.5" levelling kit and the 3" rear block linked above fit 4wd's and 2wd's, so yes, it's OK.

Check this link out for some pics

Keep in mind there are no guarantee's, but I say no, you do not have to worry about damaging other aspects of your suspension. Many people have several thousand trouble free miles with the 2.5" leveling kits installed, myself included with over 22,000 miles. The most common issue that some experience is torn CV shaft boots, but since you are 2wd, you don't have to worry about that. I have not heard of any issues assocaiated with lifting the rear 1.5" be it via block, AAL or air bags.

Both the 2.5" front and 3" rear block are bolt on so no other parts are needed for installation. Now, since your truck is 4 years old, you may find some parts along the way that you "choose to replace", but it won't likely be a "have to replace". Now, go lift your truck!

Thanks for the help! One more question would having the 2.5 front and 3" back give me to much front dive since it already has front dive. I want to keep the front lower just not to much to a point to where it looks weird. So my question is is the .5" realy going to make my truck have to much front dive if that makes any sense?

All answered there, something like this should go into a sticky thread cause Im sure it would solve alot of people problems fast

Remember, you are not lifting the rear an additional 3" with the AS 3" block. You have a 1 5/8" block in the rear from the factory which gets replaced with the 3" netting you 1 3/8" lift, so, you are looking at 2.5" in the front and 1 3/8" in the rear. I say put the 2.5" in the front and if you don't like the way it sits (too nose high), then do the blocks. Each truck reacts a little bit differently with the same levelling kit installed so you won't know until it is on and re-aligned.

I wouldn't recommend the Skyjacker 3 inch lift. As the others have told you, 3 inches is just too much lift without dropdown brackets. Also, the most common high wear items are actually you ball joints, not the CV joints. I've read more post about premature ball joint wear than CV joints. I'd suggest going with a 2.5 inch Autospring lift and a taller lift block out back.

There is no properly designed 3 inch kit with dropdown brackets. You could go with a 3 inch Performance Accessories body lift though.
