Need a quick answer fast involving 7.5 Fabtech lift

Ride quality depends mainly on the tire you choose with this lift kit. My ride quality is decent, but it would be alot better if I hadn't chose to run baja claws. Everything aligns perfectly with the kit. You'll tell youre ride will be slightly more stiff when the suspension goes on but once it settles it rides really nice. Like I said though, it depends on your tires.

One thing I noticed when I put lift coils in is that my truck doesn't have near as much suspension travel as before. Either that, or my front end was just really worn out. It seemed to be noticeably stiffer than running the stock set-up which at first wasnt that awesome. BUT I dont even notice it anymore. I was hoping that the ride associated with the 7.5" lift would be closer to stock then that of what I have.. I am really tempted to buy the Camburg kit for 10" of travel and calling it quits. I have heard that those kits ride really really nice, AND they have uniball joints instead of ball joints.

Well, this is my whole deal. The fabtech kit doesnt come with shocks which shocks to "complete the look" are going to run 200-300 a piece. They are going to have to custom valved/tuned and all that nonsense. I would just slap the 2k camburg kit on there with some 200 something dollar king piggybacks and be one happy camper. I always thought that the camburg kit would be cheaper than the fabtech kit. I remember when I was first looking for ways to lift mine that I cam across a fabtech long travel kit that was running 2,200 without shocks and my immediate response was "You have to be kidding me!!". I have no intentions of getting rid of my truck anytime soon so if I have to spend a chunk of change to get things exactly the way I want then thats what happens. Atleast I am not making payments every month, and besides what does a single guy making decent money got to spend it on

Well, that is very true. What else is bad is that both of those kits aren't big tire friendly which is something we both like. I would love to slap some 37/38s on mine, but at the same time I don't know. I have been thinking about getting the 7.5" lift, but I wont if the ride quality isnt there.

Well the camburg and fabtech lifts dont provide that much ground clearance. As a matter of fact, the camburg kit suggest fiberglass fenders just to run 35s. I wouldnt think that you could go much, if any, bigger on the fabtech kit so you are pretty much limiting yourself to 35s or smaller with those kits.
