Have Billsteins set at 2" need extra 1"

Okay so I have the Bilsteins and they are set at 2" Mine only have a 0" or 2" setting. My new tires require me to raise it another .5" or 1". My question to you all is if I set my Bilsteins back down at 0" and get a 3" spacer would I be good? Or do they actually raise it a little and it would be pushing it so far as to where I would want to get a 2.5" All help is appreciated!

So you think that a 3" would be too much? I just barely rub now after trimming, and I want to get it as far away from rubbing as I can while still playing it safe. So what does everyone else think?

I would limit to 2 1/2 inches tall on a leveling kit. What size tires and wheels do you have?

They are 315/60/r20 Toyo M/Ts on stock 20's. They have a 1.5 spacer behind them so they don't rub the control arm. They only rub the bottom of the fender flare when turning and hitting a bump. I just thought it would be a good idea to maybe try and get the most lift as I could out of this thing in stock without getting a lift. I really like the look of the fenders being filled. But I just didn't know if 3 would be too much.

Those tires are 35x12.6 and with the MT lug's you will have to do a lot of trimming on the lower wheelwells. Some have heated the wheelwell liners and then beat them with a mall to make the tires clear. I ran 35" BFG AT's for year's with no problems mainly due to the smaller design of the sidewalls and had them on the right size wheels. Sometimes a sawzall and a mall can work wonder's.
