well i didnt have the shorter u bolts at the time so i just put the block on top so thats why its resting on the bump stop so i got some shorter bolst on the way to.with the blocks out im not sure how much more it will go down. the l leafs have a lot less arc so i think it lowered it quite a bit.

Brysonh you must have a unique setup! I did the flip and it dropped me but nowhere near there! I'll need to change keys to get any tuck.

it's not a bolt on. by the time you made it work, it'd have been easier to do a SAS and put a t-case on yours.

straight axle swap. it's not that difficult to do if you have the tools, but it isn't cheap.

you're better off buying a 4wd if that's what you want. buy the time you bought all components then got 4wd actually functioning correctly you could have bought a different truck and had money left over

Considering you would also have to remove/install the transfer case, all of the front susp, them do all the wiring if the t-case isn't manual, and tons more, it would be easier to just buy a 4x4 as Garrett said.

No way a 4x4 pick up should be lowered. might as well buy a 2wd since you won't be able to use the 4wd on a lowered truck.

Wow. Haven't we been over this before.

Everyone can do what they want to their truck and if you don't like it then GTFO of this thread.

You can't use 4wd? Why not? For those who live in areas with icy roads it works for them. And you haven't seen coobies on the beach in his. Yes he pushes sand with the bumper but he gets thru where the 2wds dont

Thejake u should chill the f out. i'm not hating on the guy for lowering it. imo i don't think 4wd should be lowered. never said his truck was ugly or anything so don't jump the gun. and he may get through sand but i would like to see him get through a rough road with mud or want not.

why the hell would he be down a rough road with mud? 99.9% of the population have no need to go down those roads.

i'd also like to see your truck go in a parking garage downtown.

i said downtown, i know you'd fit in a regular parking garage. only way your fitting a 4wd 1/2 ton in a down town garage is lowering it to atleast the height of a 2wd at a minimum.
