I know bobby's running your keys now in his 05. Apparently 1/2 ton keys lift a 3/4 ton chevy

you mean turbo? superchargers are basically a replacement for a throttle body and intake manifold...

26" Wheels with 2/4 drop

Hi. I am the proud owner of my first F-150, well Mark LT, and I've got a question. What are you guy's suggestions for a 2/4 drop with 26" wheels? I've looked online and I get confused. There are complete kits, which I would assume be easier than most other options, but maybe not. I don't want to do a whole lot of permanent changes, so if you guys know of a good route to go on this, please chime in.

Thanks.

AJ

I'm guessing you have a 4WD?

Swapping front shocks to 2WD units will do pretty near 2" in front and actually increase total travel. (I was going to do this, but then I chose a different path ... look back a page or two and see how I did it at post #251 .... https://www.f150online.com/forums/su...thread-17.html )

Then remove 2" blocks from between rear axle and leaves for 2" drop (need new U-bolts, I think I listed some in my posts, or visit Ford and get new 2WD U-bolts) and then you can use 2" drop shackles for 1 or 2 more. You'll need 2WD shocks in rear if you go for a full 3 or 4 " drop and don't want to riask damage to shock mounts with loads.

At the very least, once done, you are gonna find the front camber off and tires kicked out at bottom and they'll be toed out too much so it will need allignment.

Lots of other posts in the pages here in this thread.

Yes I have a 4WD. I've read so much on this thread but I'm so lost on this subject, that's why I'm still asking for help. Thanks for the good info. Very informative. So basically what you told me is good for a 4WD as well? This doesn't seem very difficult.
