oh and my torsion bars seem to be just barely touching the next support or bracket that sticks down past the frame below the front door. its about a foot in front of the torsion bar bracket. is yours touching here to?

No mine are fine and where they should be. Maybe push them tom the rear a bit from the c-arm. and as far as a fix, well I haven't been able to try anything yetcause I've been too busy with other thibngs. I will prob get to it this week and will let ya know. If you figure something out before me hit me up.

same thing happened to me a while back, every time i would drive slow i would hear the squeak, i ended up replacing my Idler arms and sway bar links, the noise quit. I talked to a friend of mine that is the charlie Daniels of a torque wrench, and he said after 80,000-120,000 they start to wear out. good luck i hope this helps

Levi I wish it were that easy. When I installed my lift I replaced the entire front suspension and steering with brand new parts (sway bar links and idler arm). I actually hung underneath my truck to pin point the squeek abnd its coming from the passenger side t-bar key. I just have to figure out why and how to fix it and I'll be sset. Thanks for your input though.

Ford fan, my bad man I guess I misread your post. Yes my t-bars actually rubbed this cross member/skid plate (if its what I think your talking about). I actually had to move it forward and have the front bolts hold it at the rear mounting slots. If this makes any sense. Then the t-bars fit and I have about 1/2 inch from the exhaust pipe that goes across with no clearance issues at all.

Yeah dude Im on it on Thursday along with my brake lines. I got some marine graese i'm going to put on my keys to see if this works. Did you have to get longer brake lines or are your stock ones good? If you need some I'll send you the company I found mine at and they were the cheapest, even cheaper than gettin em made here locally in my town. Let me know.

@ Fordfan..Hey man the brake line company I bought my lines from is called
"Baseline 4X4". I actually found them on ebay and they were the cheapest. I actually called them with a few questions and they are actually cheaper by calling than by buying them off of ebay.

Fordfan4life199 I know this is a super old post but I am having the same torsion key squeak that you did. Did you remove your torsion key to get the grease in there? Or did you just spray some grease in there?
