6" fabtech lift kit
#16
im stuck on a Fabtech 6" lift any way it goes so ill probably get the stage one , you can get them around 1400 or 1500 bucks on some sites. I figured i will have to get new rims anyway and tires duhhh. I was going to get some pro comp 17's and some kind of 35 tire.
Here is what i dont get. What else do i have to get for it to run alright. Do i need steering stabilizers and to re gear it ? What else do i need.
This is my first vehicle and im learning about all this. My brother and father work on cars alot and my brother builds them but i would like to learn this stuff too

The Fabtech lift has my truck exactly the same hieght on all 4 corners. A Procomp F150 sits about an inch higher than mine in the front, but has a slight bulldog look (front is higher than rear). The Fabtech doesn't stack rear blocks, Procomp does.
Both are good lifts and since you are 4x2 I doubt you'll be roughing it up offroad a whole lot. Spend tons of time off the pavement in mine, hell I had it doing trails and hills while hunting yesterday and flexed it to the max going through a creek with no problems.

If you want yours to look like mine. 6inch suspension with a leveling kit on top of that or if you get a lift with coilovers you can crank them up two inches and then just get the rear end up as well. Also if you get rid of your stock 2inch block in the rear then let me know. I might need them
