best 6" kit for a DD 05?
Hey all, so i have been going back and forth with which kit i want to get for my 05 fx4... Its a DD, that is going to see mostly highway driving with some weekend warrior and spur of the moment off roading, but nothing too extreme..
I want a kit that will sit perfectly level, keep the front trac-width as stock as possible and fit 35's with no rubbing without making them look too small...
I do not like the idea of the 6" spacer, but i dont really think i need to spend $3K on coilovers either... just dont think i will ever off-road it hard enough to warrant them..
What to you guys think?
I DO not want the PC stage 1 kit either, I hate the way the front crossmember looks and it widens the trac-width..

Swazo just picked up a Trail Master for $1500 plus shipping. https://www.f150online.com/forums/su...er-6-lift.html
It replaces the front strut with an extended strut, but retains the OEM spring. Costs way less than a coil over set up but performs much the same.
What I like about that kit is the front CV shaft that it comes with. No other kit includes it that I know of.

Or you could consider a Rancho lift!! I have tons of pics in gallery of my truck with 33's and also with a 1" Daystar spacer added and 35's. Out of the box, the Rancho gave me about 5" of lift.
Rancho w/ 33" Nitto TerraGrapps, blocks in the rear:
Truck in my sig has the 1" DayStar spacer added and 35" ProComp XTreme AT's.
Good luck.
