new looking for some help

i recently got a 2001 f150 4x4 and i have notice a rattle(squeak) that seems to be coming for the left rear.it almost sounds like a loose body bolt or something.i can't figure whats making the noise. i am wondering to there are any common problems. i also need suggestions on new leaf springs and shocks

I know this is old, but does it only squeak when you hit bumps? In other words does it seem something associated with the body or hardware of the vehicle or mechanical? I had a very irritating squeak for the longest time only to realize it was my tailgate. I just apply some wd-40 to all hinges and latches and it goes away. Not sure if thats what you're hearing, but something to check.
