WHats needed to get rid of the 6" spacer?

Hey all, I have talked to a few of my friends back home that have recently gotten the RCX 6" and 4" kits for their f150s.. they LOVE them, the guy with the 4" doesnt do anything too crazy but the guy that has the 6" beats his truck.. says it rids really good and holds up to everything he puts it through..

I am pretty much swayed for the kit, BUT what do i need to do to get rid of the *****ty looking lift coilover spacer? I know other 6" kits come with extended shocks to get rid of the spacer, but I havnt been able to find them?

thanks for the help!

You will need to invest in a coilovers like the fox and or icons. Im looking for some myself to give it a better ride.

Right, and those two along with Bilstiens would be at the top of the list, quality wise. But you could probably get Fabtech Dirt Logic or Pro Comp MX-6 coilovers for less money.

ok, i thought there were some kits that had extended 'struts' but used the factory coilovers, and this setup doesnt require the huge spacers?

Fabtech does/did but I remember seeing someone on here with a newer fabtech kit and it had strut extensions....I was disappointed when I saw that.

Trail Master replaces the front strut with their own, but you retain the OEM coil. The advantage of this is the new strut matches the valving of the new gas rear shocks. The "strut spacers" that you've seen on the other kits keep the OEM front struts. By doing it this way the kit does not cost as much as a coil-over, but most of the advantages.
