factory 2wd is 255-70-16. I ran that dropped 3/5 with minor rub at full lock. Then i went to 255-65-16 with barely a rub at full lock.

too bad you're not out in TX, i would have loved to help convert a truck to the dark side

yeah, there's that...and just itching for a change. been lifted for 4yrs...can't afford a new truck, so might as well change up what I got...

hockey - cool points officially lost haha

buxton - yup and 01f1502wd did call it, so he'll get first pickens when I get the $$ for the drop

patman - I think I'll probably need to run 255-65 because I'll be running 17s. I wish you were out this way too...it would be good to have some experience along side me during the swap...dark side here I come

Yah i want to go wayy bigger in my truck. I want a big block engine with a beefy tranny and transfer case with some 2.5 rockwells. My truck just isnt going to cut it anymore with what i wanna do.

Sure did. Im talking min tire size of 52inch military tires sense they are cheap all the way up to tractor tires lol. But if i dont sell it the F150 will still be a daily driver with 40s on it but i just wanna get rid of it and completely start over on something that can handle a lot more.

Newer or savlaged F250/F350 with like engine or suspension damage considering the whole engine, suspension, tranny, transfer will all be taken out and completely starting over with bigger and stronger stuff.
