Hey 97OneFiddy -
I just sold my 97 F250 HD today. I had 4" rancho lift and 3" body lift with 36 x 14.50 x 16.5 super swampers with 4:56 gears. It ran good, rpm would be 2500-3000 doing 65-70mph. Do you have the independent front suspension. IMO i would convert it to a 350 straight axle. The guys that worked on my truck recommended to do that. Either way good luck with it, it def will turn heads!

Yeah I do have independent front suspension. And that's sort of what I am afraid of. I would love to convert to a straight axle but I really don't want to spend a ton of money on my truck.

Are 37" tires a bit much for IFS?

The only extra wear and tear would come from the bigger tires since the body lift doesnt affect suspension angles or anything like that

IMO it might be worth the money to convert to straight axle, I had heavy duty springs but the front end def was hoping across the road when hitting bumps. U should check your local 4x4 shops, see what they say 37" is a big tire, keep us posted and post pics!
