Thanks man. At this point I think I am just going to leave it as is, notch the frame, and relocate my bags. That should pretty much take care of my "ride quality" problem. I just love the current look so much I don't want to change it up and I think the above mods are the answer.

PS I am about to start a C5 Z06 project as well so the FX2 is going to be in a holding pattern for a while.

Milt,

I agree with leaving your truck as is. Looks great. But just to finish with your level inquiry. The AS 1.5" is a 2" lift. They need to re-label their products. Here's the deal. The thickness dimensions of their "1.5" block" are the same measurements as everyone else's 2" block. I think what happened is, the block provided only 1.5" of lift on the 2004+ F150's so they assumed thats what they would get out of the 2009+. With the change in front end suspension geometry, you actually get 2" now. I have one on my 2010, but still running stock wheels and tires. Can't wait to get the upgrades this summer.

Thank you for clarifying. That is exactly what I heard but you can't always believe what you hear. I like to get reassurance. Make sure you post some pics when you get your wheels and tires this summer.

33's with leveling kit.

33's with 4" lift kit.

I switched to a lift because I was not comfortable going off road with the leveling kit, to me the half-shaft alignment was simply too severe when full suspension travel occurs. My current BDS kit keeps the same factory alignment which is worth it in my book.
