How much has front suspension changed on the basic F-150 05-10? Upper/lower control arms etc....

It's the same design. Not sure about parts interchangabality. You could look up the part numbers and see what parts are identical.

Lower control arms are aluminum on 2004-2008, and stamped steel for 2009+. The upper control arms should be the same. The spindle is the same for 2004-2009, and they changed that for 2010 along with the brake rotors, calipers, and pads. The struts are backwards compatible for 2004-current, but there may be ride height differences for 2004-2008 vs. 2009+.

Thanks EsJayEs, reason I'm asking is this Rancho video is on a '10 and was hoping it would be almost as easy as depicted http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fT_R30Dzpk

Yep, that will all be the same. Although the guy in the video didn't tighten the lower strut bolt correctly. That must be done with the suspension at ride height to prevent the bushing from binding and tearing.
