2010 f150 6" lift 2" higher in the rear

hey guys, I have a 2wd 2010 F150 with a BDS 6" lift installed. For some reason, the rear of the truck sits around 1.5"-2" higher. I know that It comes with a 5" block. I parked next to 2 different 4wd 2010 6" lifted F150s and my front sits perfectly level with them, but the rear sits higher? did the installers do something wrong with leafsprings or something? thanks!

You could put in a smaller block, but maybe post some pics of the leafs and truck so we can help more

I just installed a 6" BDS on my 06 FX4 and I have the same thing as you do. The rear end sits up pretty high compared to the front. I dont know if the front sits lower than it should or the rear is just high but I am most likely going to add a 1" Daystar spacer or maybe a 2" spacer to even it out. The rear will eventually sag because of the AAL but I was thinking maybe the way the leafs were installed had something to do with how high it sits...Not in the correct order?? I am not sure because like I said I have the same thing. 5" block with an AAL. You would think it should be around 4.5-5" total in the back. I have the replacement 6" BDS struts up front.

Oh, and I sure hope they took out the stock 2" block. That could be the cause right there. I would assume the installers are smarter than that though.

The reason it sits up higher is b/c of the AAL. On a 4wd the 5" block will lift the rear 3" which will leave the rear 1" lower than the front therefore the kit also comes with an AAL. The AAL is probably 2". If you want the truck to sit level and ride smoother than you can remove the AAL and install a 1" or 1.5" lift shackle. I can't remember which they make. Also, if you or anyone is interested in a custom block to fit your needs, PMFcan make them.

Ahh...makes sense. Yeah I knew the whole 6" in front 4" in back to make it level but I never put it together with this 3" and then 1.5-2". I am going to put a 2" spacer up front to raise the front up and leave the back high. I like having a little tail-high stance but would love to get it leveled. Thanks.
