Best shocks for country/bumpy roads?

Just bought a new 2013 screw 4x4 w/the off road package/suspension and it was riding really nice, even on the rough country roads at my ranch/job. I put a 2" level and 34.5" BFG tires on it. Ride went stiff, ESPECIALLY on rough roads (this didn't happen with my 06...)
Can you guys please recommend a shock that will smooth my trucks ride on the ranch! Something that will "float" more instead of the current "THUD!" I get now when I hit a dip or bump.
Thanks for any info on this subject!

I did lower the tire pressure and I know that taking the level and tires off would fix my problem but I can't do that.

Replace the level with leveling struts such as the bilsteins or ranchos.

Rancho RS9000XL is a popular shock for us. The leveling kit may play a factor in your ride quality. The Rancho quickLIFT is a great option for 2.5 of lift.

Do the levels/spacers have to be replaced or can they be used in conjunction?

Replace it with the leveling struts. It'll allow you to keep the height and it'll give you better ride quality.
