I have the eibach leaf springs for about a 3" drop in the rear. The shocks that came with the kit were blown and I replaced with belltech nitro drop shocks. Those blew out after about 8 months. I then replaced those with ground force and those sound like they are out after about a week. Im not sure if I am just getting defective shocks or what. Any suggestions on a drop shock? I had bilsteins on another truck and liked them, but I cant find one for a lowered truck. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

I have the DJM calmax with my 5" flip kit..and not issue for 20K miles.
From my latest mesurement they are the same dimension as the 1996 2wd f150.

only issue I had the first time: installed them upside down(lol) and it was like not having any shocks.
