New f150 owner need help with spindles
Long story short I bought an 03 2wd with a lift. Not sure about the size. I knew the truck had bad wheel bearings but when I pulled the axle nut off the wheel had gotten so hot it welded the nut onto the spindle thread and ruined the spindle. At first I thought I had stock spindles but after pulling one off at a junkyard I know I have lifted spindles. Was hoping someone could help me figure out my options

Going back to stock is as easy as replacing them with the lifted versions. But if you go back to stock, make sure the tires you're running will still fit properly.
If you decide to stick with the lifted kind, you're better off just buying a new set. You can get them through Springtech or Canuck Motorsports relatively cheap. They're the same as the Doestch one, considering when I bought mine from Springtech they came in Doestch box and I ran them on my last truck for about 4 years and never had a problem.
If you want to try to replace only that one, you'll need to determine the brand so you can figure out if it's a 3" or 3.5" lift spindle.

Going to lift spindles only requires changing the spindles, same for going back to stock. Now, it is the perfect time to replace your ball joints, tie rod ends, rotors, and brake pads if they need to be replaced. And you might as well replace the wheel bearings on both sides as well, not just the side that failed.
