Just installed the Edelbrocks last week and promptly drove 2500 miles with my bass boat in tow in search of big bass, which eluded me again. Anyway.......
My impressions are that the IAS's are firmer but less harsh, if that makes sense. Less body roll but no more shuttering over bad bumps. Much quicker recovery than the stock ORP shocks, which went straight into the trash can. My stock bushings were trashed after only 18k miles. I'm very pleased with the Edelbrock's.
I don't go off-road very often, which is why I chose these over the Rancho's.
Good luck with your choice. You can't go wrong with either IMO.

I am curious who has the best prices as well. I think I may pik up a set for my truck. I already have 14,000 miles on my truck, but would like to try a better shock for those little bumps that get the back end loose.
Still debating on the rear sway bar. It seems everything moderatly priced takes some tweaking to get installed correctly. I am waitnig for a direct fit bar. Not a 1 bar works for all type.
